Wetsuit Hire

MyOpenWaterSwim.co.uk has teamed up with MyWetSuitHire and 2XU to give you an opportunity to try out the 2XU Team T2 or Velocity V2 wetsuit

We believe that the only true way of knowing if a wetsuit fits well and is comfortable is to test it out in the water, after all that's where you are going to be using it!

Once you have signed in at the registration desk and received your numbered band, if you wish to hire a wetsuit you will be asked to complete a 'Wetsuit Rental Registration Form' (please download and print out the form to the right complete it where applicable and bring it with you to speed up the process).

How to Hire a Wetsuit at the Lake:

1st Visit:

Pre-register online - this will save time at your first swim. (required whether you hire a wetsuit or not)

Head to the Registration desk and complete a registration form or print it off to the right, complete it and bring it with you.

Hand your rental fee £5 and deposit £10 (cash only) and complete the 'Rental Form' to the right

Get fitted with a Wetsuit.

Go Swimming!

Return the wetsuit to My Wetsuit Hire, have it checked for damage, if all ok, have your deposit and credit card returned to you.

If you wish to try a V:2 Velocity wetsuit then the rental charge will be £10* and the deposit £20* Subsequent Visits:

Head over to my wetsuit hire desk, once you have signed in at the registration desk.

Hand over your rental fee £5*, deposit £10* and credit card

Fill out 'Rental Form' and collect your wetsuit.

Go Swimming!

Return the wetsuit to My Wetsuit Hire, have it checked for damage, if all ok, have your deposit and credit card returned to you.

If you wish to try a V:2 Velocity wetsuit then the rental charge will be £10* and the deposit £20*
